MasterControl Appoints Former FDA Manager to Lead its Government Customer Success Initiative

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 21, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MasterControl Inc., a leading global provider of software solutions that enable life science and other regulated companies to deliver life-improving products to more people sooner, today announced it has appointed Bryant Headley to spearhead its sales and customer success efforts with government entities, such as the FDA, VA, Department of Defense and the Department of Treasury.

Headley previously served as Business/Program Manager at the FDA, where he successfully implemented MasterControl after streamlining legacy processes, gathering nationwide input from users and training them for optimal productivity. Prior to the FDA, he served as Program Manager for the VA for its Health Data Repository, a multiyear project that resulted in a longitudinal record of clinical veterans data and a method for displaying legacy clinical data from over 100 Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology.

While at the VA, Headley also implemented the government’s first two HP Superdomes, machines capable of bringing in 2.5 million records a second. He also previously served as a Compliance Officer at the VA, where he streamlined the production of Reusable Medical Equipment for VA hospitals following ISO standards.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Bryant to our team,” said Jon Beckstrand, CEO of MasterControl. “His experience with the FDA and VA will be integral in ensuring our customers are leveraging MasterControl to the fullest, experiencing exceptional quality, and managing auditing seamlessly. Headley will also be invaluable for ongoing MasterControl product development, and we look forward to working with him to continue to promote why going digital is the best way to manage compliance and quality.”

Headley holds degrees from Wayland Baptist University and George Washington University. He has also served in the military, where he participated in multiple deployments before retiring after the Gulf War.
