SALT LAKE CITY (March 25, 2005) - Document Control Systems, Inc. (DCS), the leading maker of document automation and quality management software for FDA-regulated and ISO-conforming industries, today announced record-setting sales growth of over 75 percent in 2004, reflecting the popularity of the company's MasterControl Quality Suite among new customers.
The 2004 sales growth is consistent with DCS' track record, with year-to-year increase in sales of over 50 percent for five of the last six years. This phenomenal growth was recognized by MountainWest Ventures, which listed DCS as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in Utah for six straight years.
"The 2004 success reflects the strength and the commitment of the entire DCS Team," said Jon Beckstrand, CEO of DCS. ?I'm honored to be part of such a group of outstanding individuals.?
Beckstrand noted the company's relentless push for innovation and excellence, saying: ?From product design to customer service to sales and marketing, each of our teams was outstanding in 2004. There's tremendous excitement within the company to continue to deliver successful quality systems to our customers, which can only lead to even better results in 2005.?
Late last year, DCS released MasterControl Quality Suite v4.0, the most recent version of its widely successful MasterControl Suite ? developed more than a decade ago as the first software specifically designed to help companies comply with FDA requirements and ISO standards.
DCS attributes its 2004 success to the increased use of MasterControl Quality Suite, especially with the addition of new modules to the software, namely: MasterControl Forms, MasterControl CAPA, and MasterControl Training.
Customers place their trust in DCS and its MasterControl Quality Suite solutions based on two key attributes ? they're easy to use and they're all connected, said Brian Curran, vice president of strategic marketing and product management. ?We're passionate about developing products that are easy to use. Further, we apply the same principle to the entire solution, which must be easy to install, easy to implement, and easy to validate. We share a similar passion in creating products that are connected, and recognize that what we're really doing is connecting together end users, departments, and divisions to project quality across the entire organization.?
