Recognition is a Good Thing

This year, MasterControl was recognized for
performance excellence by Software Magazine.
It’s always nice to know when you are doing well, especially when you’re recognized within your own industry.

This year, MasterControl was recognized for performance excellence by several industry organizations.

The first accolade came when Software Magazine included MasterControl for the third time in its Software 500 ranking of the world’s largest software and service providers.  MasterControl ranks 369.

"We're very pleased to once again be included in this list of providers," says MasterControl CEO Jon Beckstrand. "This inclusion is an indication of the quality of our product, our customers and our employees."

The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world's largest software and services suppliers, targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers, and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue from the 2013 fiscal year. This includes revenue from software licenses, maintenance and support, training, and software-related services, and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. Financial information is gathered by a survey prepared by Rockport Custom Publishing, LLC using public documents and company input. It is published in print as well as posted online at as both a digital edition and searchable database.

Utah Business Fast 50

Locally, MasterControl was again named to the Utah Business Fast 50, which recognizes Utah’s 50 fastest-growing companies. This is the thirteenth time the company has received this prestigious award.

“I’m very pleased that MasterControl has been recognized for our continued growth with both of these awards,” says Jon Beckstrand, MasterControl’s chief executive officer. “This year’s growth is based on our focus on customer success and on helping customers accomplish their mission of making high quality products available to more people sooner than ever before. Internally, we’ve focused on creating and growing a team of exceptional people who understand our customers’ need for quality and speed to market.”

The best accolades, though, are the ones from our clients---and numbers speak the loudest.  At this point, MasterControl is on track to break all its preceding sales records.  That is fine recognition, indeed.
