Training Services

MasterControl's Professional Services team, consisting of former ISO auditors and system administrators, has developed a comprehensive training program that serves as a foundation for successful project implementation and helps companies realize software ROI faster. The team conducts product training at the state-of-the-art MasterControl Training Center in Salt Lake City and also at customers' facilities.

• System Administration Training - Most companies send their key document control or quality or regulatory affairs personnel to attend this in-depth training in Salt Lake City . The training covers system set-up, configuration, process examples, and hands-on application. The trainees are given assignments to be completed when they return to their offices in preparation for implementation. To schedule training or see training dates, click here.

• Onsite Training and Configuration - A MasterControl team will perform onsite configuration, data import of existing documents, and end-user training. The MasterControl team will be working closely with the system administration trainees who had been given assignments during their training in Salt Lake City . This phase includes developing workgroup strategies, user security guidelines, document storage strategies, document import methodology, and document type configuration. The goal is to have the MasterControl system fully configured and operational at the end of this phase.

• Coaching Program - There are different coaching levels available under this program, which includes additional training, onsite support, and monthly consultations with the Professional Services team. Many companies take advantage of this program as they deploy MasterControl to additional departments and facilities. MasterControl will work directly with customers on a continuing basis in designing and deploying management solutions that address unique company or industry requirements. • Advanced Training - Some companies request advanced training to supplement the basic system administration training. Advanced classes may be customized based on a company's needs.
