FyreStorm, Innovative Fabless SemiConductor Company, Selects MasterControl™ to Facilitate ISO Compliance

SALT LAKE CITY – June 12, 2006 – FyreStorm Inc., a fabless semiconductor company that develops cutting-edge power management technology for mobile device manufacturers, has chosen the MasterControl™ quality suite to facilitate compliance with ISO 9001 standards, according to an announcement made today by MasterControl Inc.

FyreStorm power management products are used in various kinds of wireless electronic devices such as smart phones, PDAs, digital cameras, portable media players, MP3 players, and GPS systems. Switching-mode supplies in FyreStorm's products are implemented with the company's unique all-digital adaptive loop control technology. This innovative technology enables efficient and extremely fast response switching-mode power supplies. The company has 36 patent applications, out of which 18 have been issued, seven allowed, and the rest are pending.

FyreStorm, based in Sunnyvale, Calif., was looking for an ISO-compliant quality management software solution as part of its ISO compliance initiative. Users will include the engineering, quality, sales/marketing, finance, HR, IT, and operations departments.
