Jonathan Beckstrand

Jon Beckstrand is responsible for the overall direction and vision of the company. Since his leadership began in 2002, MasterControl has enjoyed robust growth, introduced an array of new solutions, continued the company's push for innovation, and advanced its position as a leading provider of quality management software and services for regulated companies.
A lawyer and accountant by training, Beckstrand began his career as general counsel for a developer of credit union software systems. He then worked as senior consultant for a Chicago-area software strategy consulting firm. Beckstrand's extensive experience managing technology investments includes serving on a mergers and acquisitions team for KPMG in Silicon Valley, where he performed due diligence on more than 30 Internet, telecommunications, and software company purchases and investments. He also currently serves on the board of directors for a Utah-based IT services organization. Beckstrand received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Utah and a law degree from Brigham Young University and is a member of the Utah State Bar.

Jeff Peck
CFO

Jeff Peck, a Certified Public Accountant, joined MasterControl in 2003 to oversee the company's financial activities. He has more than 13 years of experience as chief financial officer, including four years with a software development company, where he was responsible for filing all reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission. His more than 15 years of experience in public accounting have helped him gain a wealth of knowledge in audit, tax, and mergers and acquisitions. Peck earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Utah State University. He's a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. |

Matthew M. Lowe
Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing

Medical device expert Matt Lowe joined MasterControl in 2006. Since then, he has served MasterControl as a Product Manager and Senior Vice President. His career includes product development and product management at Ortho Development Corp. and at Bard Access Systems. Lowe has successfully launched more than a dozen medical devices. He has three patents issued and two others pending. His regulatory experience includes writing a 510(k) that was cleared by FDA and managing a multi-site, multi-year post-market clinical study for orthopedic devices. Lowe has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah and an MBA from Indiana University.

Craig Gygi
Executive Vice President, Operations

Craig Gygi is a recognized quality industry leader and veteran of continuous improvement. He is a Master Black Belt, a bestselling Lean Six Sigma author, and a master practitioner, teacher, deployer, and developer-integrator of the methods of Lean, Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), and Business Process Management (BPM). Gygi is responsible for MasterControl’s product development, quality assurance, technical support, information technology, services and product management functions.
Most recently, Gygi served as the Principle Consultant and Managing Director at CKGygi LLC, a firm he founded that specializes in assisting organizations implement Lean and Six Sigma methods, establish and measure critical metrics for key business processes and provide advanced analytical and quality engineering expertise for engineering, design, production and back-office projects and programs. He also served as director of aerospace quality and operational excellence at ES3 and as director of operational excellence at Fiji Water. Craig was the founder, president and director of software development for TolStack, Inc. With more than 18 years’ experience applying and leading continuous improvement, Gygi is a recognized leader in the quality industry. Recently, he was instrumental in helping one of his clients win the 2011 Shingo Prize. The Shingo Prize is considered the global Nobel Prize for operations. Craig received both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from BYU. |

Randall Autry

Randall Autry is responsible for engineering and product development. Before joining MasterControl in 2001, he worked in the transportation, communications, energy, finance, and manufacturing sectors. His expertise includes software development, small and large team product development leadership, technology vision, and executive management.
Autry has 14 years of experience in the field, previously serving as VP of engineering for WebBasis Inc., a provider of Web-based telephony, e-mail, and office solutions. He held several positions at Coresoft Technologies, a computer telephony integration provider, including VP of Engineering, Director of Linux Development, and Senior Software Engineer. He also held several positions at IBM Corporation. As a senior product support representative, he provided software engineering services to key IBM customers. |

Brian Curran

Brian Curran joined MasterControl in 2002 to direct and expand MasterControl's product development efforts. He has more than a decade of experience leading the direction for enterprise and entrepreneurial software development companies.
Curran began his career with IBM, where he spent five years leading consulting engagements with Fortune 500 companies, such as MCI, BellSouth, and many others. After this, he held several Director and VP-level product management and marketing positions for entrepreneurial software development companies in the telecommunications and Web analytics sector. Curran has an MBA with an emphasis in information systems. |

John Yarbrough

John Yarbrough is a seasoned sales executive with more than 20 years' experience in sales, business development, management and marketing in the software industry. Yarbrough is responsible for building MasterControl’s worldwide sales partner program, with a focus on Asian business development.
Yarbrough has an extensive track record in building and leading successful sales organizations for software companies. He began his career with Information Builders, Inc. and subsequently served as vice president of sales for MetricStream, Inc. and Pilgrim Software and vice president of worldwide sales for EtQ Management, Inc. He holds an MBA from California Coast University with a concentration in management. |

Kevin Ash

Kevin Ash joined MasterControl in 2005 to manage all aspects of the delivery of the company's services, including professional and validation services, project management, technical support, and client services.
Ash has more than 16 years of professional consulting, technical services, and business management experience. Before joining MasterControl, Ash served as Senior Services Product Manager of Consulting Services at Symantec Corp., a global provider of information security software and services. He has held top-level positions with several technology companies and library automation system providers. Ash received a bachelor's degree in information management from Brigham Young University.

Curt Porritt
Sr. V.P. Marketing |

Curt Porritt has more than 18 years of experience in the high-tech industry, including more than 13 years of upper-level management experience. He played an integral part in designing and managing WordPerfect’s international development organization — one of the first in the world to produce software products simultaneously in more than 30 different languages. In 1995, Porritt began his own consulting firm that helped clients achieve the highest possible ROI from their international markets.
Prior to joining MasterControl in 2006, Porritt served as President and CEO of 10x Marketing, an Internet marketing firm focused on helping companies realize more visitors to their Web site. As Senior Vice President of Marketing for MasterControl, Porritt has merged his international experience with the latest breakthroughs in global Internet marketing. He enjoys teaching classes on Internet marketing and business strategy for the Small Business Development Center based on a book he authored entitled The Basics of Business. |

Chad Fox
Managing Director, Asia Operations

Chad Fox manages and directs the company’s strategic growth initiatives for all of Asia from MasterControl’s Asia office in Tokyo, Japan. He has more than 18 years' experience and expertise in building and driving global ventures in many parts of the world, with particular emphasis in Asia. Prior to joining MasterControl, he was a senior executive in Asia for various start-up ventures and Fortune 500 Japanese and US firms specializing in technology, software, management consulting and entertainment/sports marketing, including head of the National Basketball Association (NBA) international expansion effort in Asia.
Fox is fluent in Japanese and attended the University of Utah in Business Administration. He was awarded a certification in Japanese Advance Business Resource Administration (JABRA) from Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. |

Greg Beeber
Director of EMEA

As Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) based in Dusseldorf Germany, Greg Beeber is responsible for developing and executing operational initiatives throughout EMEA. He joined MasterControl in 2002 with more than 20 years’ experience in computer science, sales management, and business operations. Mr. Beeber brings strong software sales, regulatory compliance, and operational background to MasterControl, with extensive global experience.
Beeber earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts. Prior to his tenure with MasterControl, Mr. Beeber worked in senior level positions with several companies, including Qumas, Autonomy iManage (Interwoven), and OpenText Corporation. He has a successful track record in software sales, business application consulting and software development. |
